A while a go I found out I could lower the price on buildings But now I dont know if thats true.

Yes, you can lower the amount of coins required in upgrading buildings. All you need to do is use multiple copies of the same scheme. You can't do this for items or golems however. 

For example, say that you have a lv4 stable scheme and you use it. Now it's in your library. The original cost to build is 30,000 coins. Eventually you find several more copies of lv4 stable schemes. If you go back to your inventory and use them all, each time you use it, your inventory will say that you've updated your stable scheme. Each update reduces the coin requirement by 1,000 coins. 

I think there is a limit to how many times you can update schemes, but I don't remember haha..

If I remember correctly, you can use up to 5 blueprints for Buildings and Items, and they lower... 10% each time.
