Is there anyway I can search a pound pet by name?

Are you talking about getting a pet from the pound that has a certain name? No, no way to plug the name in to have it come up. But you can keep looking for it until its name comes up.

There is one, the ajax pet search, but it's a premium member feature. Do you see the little search near the top right corner of the screen below the Help tab (not one of the sections under Help, but literally right under the tab)? You can click on that and it will take you to where you can search usernames and there is also a pet search where you can search for pets by user and/or pet name as well as using the same search criteria as the pet trades.

Err, if I remember correctly, if you go to my pets, then the 'Search' button*1, then move over to the 'Search Pets' tab, you can enter the pet's name, leading you to wait as it pulls all pets with names including that word you typed, but once done, you'll just have to shift through them to find the one you're looking for -- though I'm not sure if also included pounded pets.

*1 -- (should be under the Silver/Gold, near the top right, and, if I remember correctly, for all users, the premium one is for your pets only, and pretty much the same look/function as Pets Trade and Breeding Offer) (I had used a Premium Subscription due to the Exhibition, didn't really help though so kinda regret it, so I can't check, but remember playing around with that when I was looking for Kamis, and other people's naming sense :P)
