5. Description of the event

3. Requirements for the participating pets: The pet must have the gene ANIMAL INSTINCT.
4. Bonus for the winning species. Increased agility and Strength.
5. Description of the event

1. Species: Symurghs and Throdama
2. Who and why: The University, Astronomy Department
3. Requirements: Acute Eyesight, intelligence >60
4. Bonus: The winner will bring in double the silver/materials from quests/explores.
5. Description:
The Council of Scholars from the University's Astronomy Department are in disagreement. Symurghs which hail from Io, and Throdamas which hail from Ganymede are alien to this world. The scholars are arguing about how these species came to settle in their world, and what life was like on the beasts' respective planets.
Headmaster Thror has called together the council to settle this matter once and for all. The Great Chamber echoes with feuding old Professors. Their flyaway hair and disheveled white beards seem to make their arguments more animated. Suddenly, a series of three loud taps quiet the room. Headmaster Thror holds up the ancient scepter and the room falls into order as the Professors take their seats.
"Be calm everyone. It is time to settle this matter. The University has only enough funds in the treasury to back on project. So, shall we begun the debate? First we shall hear from Professor Xander and his study of Throdama Hive behavior and the harsh conditions of Ganymede. Then, we shall hear from Professor Fiorella. She will tell us of the mysteries of the Symurgh and of the Mage's studies of Io. I understand that each group has gathered and studied the finest specimens from each species, as decided by their keepers. Professor Xander" He paused and addressed the youngest man in the room. Professor Fiorella, the eccentric woman to his right gave him a curt nod as he rose to take the stage. "You have the floor" Headmaster Thror said as he surrendered the podium to him.

All Throdamas and Symurgs with Quickmind and strength over 60 were studied. These beasts are to be selected and put through rigorous mental and physical tests. The results were compiled and the group with the best results will win.

Creatures of the Wild

Species: Unicorns and Pumas
Who and Why: The Hunter’s Guild and the University are researching why unicorns and pumas have become harder to catch in the wild.
Requirements: Unicorns-Intelligence and Scholar, Pumas-Agility and Silent Pace
Bonus: Increased chance to catch unicorns or pumas  

Description:

The university have spent months trying to breed the unicorns with scholar and pumas with silent pace. They had successfully bred unicorns with increased intelligence and pumas with increased agility. One of the students studying at the university accidently left some of the cages unlocked and some of the unicorns and pumas escaped.

The hunter’s guild has since found it harder to catch unicorns and pumas in the wild. Together, the university and the hunter’s guild believe that some of the unicorns and pumas that escaped from the university have bred with wild unicorns and pumas creating smarter unicorns and agile pumas.

 The university and hunters guild need to observe unicorns with scholar and pumas with silent pace to understand how to catch the wild unicorns and pumas. Beastlords have seven days to offer their unicorns and pumas with the needed requirements to the university and the hunter’s guild. 

The Winner Takes It All: Intelligence VS Strength

Species: Unicorns and Dragons
Who and Why: The University of Intellect and the Academy of Stamina are debating which quality is easier to acquire; intelligence or strength.
Requirements: Unicorns-Intelligence and Smart, Dragons-Strength and Strong Muscles
Bonus: Increased strength or increased intelligence

Description:

The University of Intellect and the Academy of Stamina are debating which quality is more important; intelligence or strength. The university and academy have come together to challenge unicorns and dragons.

The university has asked for strong dragons to participate in an IQ test and the academy have asked the unicorns to undertake a physical examination to see which is harder to acquire; intelligence or strength. They university and the academy will record the results and the creatures who do better at the challenge will win.

The winners will receive a reward; dragons will receive increased intelligence and unicorns will receive increased strength. Beastlords have seven days to send their unicorns to the academy and their dragons to the university to discover which is easier to acquire; intelligence or strength. 

Alien Species

Species: Symurghs and Throdamas
Who and Why: The Breeding Association and the Geneticists are researching the genes of the two alien creatures; symurghs and throdamas.
Requirements: Symurghs-Strength and Fertility, Throdamas-Agility and Nimble Legs
Bonus: Cheaper genetics research

Description:

The breeding association and the geneticists don’t know much about the symurghs and throdamas. They have decided to research symurghs with fertility and throdamas with nimble legs because they are the only creatures with those genes.

They have asked all beastlords to send their symurghs with fertility and their throdamas with nimble legs to the breeding association’s lab so they can research the two genes. They will record the results over seven days.

Over the seven days, they will see which of the two genes are rarer and which is more common. The creature with the most participants will win a reward; cheaper genetics research.
