Competition in the Beast Olympics

The Association of Breeders assume Lykos and Puma are the strongest of all mammals. But they are still researching which of the two is the stronger one in comparison to the other. In order to know that, they have sought help from the Sports Association.

 The Sports Association, believing perhaps their research could succeed if this is done practically, is now looking for Lykoses and Pumas in order to participate in the Beast Olympics this year. They would like Hound in the partcipating lykoses and Gracefulness in the partciapting pumas. The marathons, relay races and the other games will continue for a week before they decide the winning species. The winning species will be credited as being the strongest mammal, side by side will be given a serum to parmanently develop extra strength. Let the games begin!

Troubadours spread a message around the kingdom, inviting guild masters to the royal castle. The king had a goal for them as well as a promise of reward.

Men and women of far and white gathered in the great hall. Their king stepped before them and spoke his quest: "Masters of all professions! I call for your help. The royal heir, the prince, is growing up, but has no respect for his people. He treats his servants like rugs, destroys artistic masterpieces around the castle without a care! He refused to learn about the history of our kingdom, the art of battle or understood beauty of art!  The queen demanded me not to get involved, but I can't stand it anymore! So now I call for help of somebody, who would teach my son to have respect!"

The hall was quiet for moments. Then the guild master of bards raised his hand: "I know what to do! I will send my Rocs to sing the loveliest songs under his windows, to melt his solid heart and cure his shadowed soul! The beauty of their singing will make him open his ears and listen to the others for advice!"

"Nonsense!" said the master of hunters: "I'll send my most fearsome Cockatrices to hunt him around the castle grounds for as long as he screams and runs! Only controlling himself when in danger and intelligently fighting back, will learn him discipline!"

2. Who and why: The Town Council and the Trade Services are each sending beasts to the peninsula to assist with their fresh water problem.
3. Requirements: Steel Muscles + Stength for Dragon, Animal Instinct + Intuition for Lykos

A Water Crisis

Grave faces sat about the Town Council and tension ran high within the room as the discussion commenced. A Roc had arrived that morning, weary from its travel from a far off branch of the Messenger Service, bringing with it a plea for assistance. A town located in a small peninsula surrounded by salt watered oceans was in the midst a crisis: the last of their fresh water wells has gone dry. Without their wells they have no means of getting fresh water of their own and the town would surely perish without it.

The Trade Services recognizes the threat this holds to their own economy. While the peninsula was small, it's soil was rich with minerals that supported a wide range of crops, and the vast majority of its land was designated to agriculture. The food grown was shipped out and sold to markets all across Europa. If the wells were dry then the aquaducts that watered the fields were in danger as well, and if the crops were to perish it could lead to world-wide food shortages. Water must be delivered to the ailing town at once to prevent this from happening.

The majority of the Town Council was more concerned with the people of the peninsula. They could not see the bigger picture as the Trade Services could, but they still wished to assist in their own way. They would help to provide the aid the town so desperately needed by sending beasts to help dig new wells. New wells would bring fresh water to the town and save the people, solving the problem at hand.

The Trade Services is hiring the help of strong Dragons who can easily travel the great distance carrying water to the town and its many farms without growing weary.
The Town Council is sending Lykos who posses the keen instincts needed to locate the water that is deep underground.
The peninsula town, grateful for the aid, will be throwing a feast to honor their saviours and will reward the group that managed to help the most with a bountiful supply of their freshest vegetables. Eating healthy does a beast well, and the species that wins this prize will gain a boost to its overall health.

The town can only last 7 days under the current conditions, so help can not come soon enough. Examining Easter's Event

The discovery of the Hoppers this past April was a remarkable find on the behalf of the Conclave of Warlocks, but there is still much to learn about the new people-friendly species. The young Hoppers that were rewarded to the Beastlords are a product of the newly developed reproductive systems of the wild monsters who adapted in this manner so as to continue their race. These new beasts, however, are incapable of breeding; why is that?

The Conclave of Warlocks is determined to figure out the reasons behind this reproduction mystery. They know that the wild species' breeding took place under the pressure placed on them by predators, so perhaps if the scenario was produced in a controled environment they could force the captive Hoppers to undergo the same changes as their wild brethren.

The University, however, believes there is more to learn from the wild Hoppers themselves and wish to continue studying their genealogical history before experimenting with the vulnerable young Hoppers of the Beastlords.

Both methods could provide valuable information and the University and Conclave of Warlocks has decided to make a competition of it to see whose strategy would produce the most useful data and results. The Warlocks have decided to find scary looking Cockatrices to frighten the captive Hoppers, hoping to pressure them into developing the new reproductive systems, while the University will be sending stealthy Lykos to the islands to examine and study them in their natural habitat.

Whose method do you support? Each group is being given 7 days to learn what they can about the Hoppers. You can find the recruitment options over at the Quests tab: the Conclave of Warlocks is looking for brave Cockatrices with Petrifying Gaze to scare the Hoppers while the University is sending agile Lykos with Genealogist into the wild to study them. The group who is the most successful will be rewarded for their contributions by their species receiving an increased energy cap for a week's time.

@Sakreeno. Well written stories. I was never really expecting to win, but I I still had a chance before!. JK, these events are for fun, so no point in bothering with winning and losing.

Anyways, here is another one;

The Trade Federation are looking for Cockatrices with Stench to clear away predators and gain more land. Once the lands are predator free, they'll harvest it for resource

The Druids Circle, though, are agianst this, as it'd ruin nature, so they are seeking a counter for this rotten, stench-filled scheme. "What better way to clear a strong odor then to blow it away." they brain-stormed, thus a request was sent for Rocs wing Massive Wings, to blow away the stench, and stop the merchants' landscapign project.

Which side will you, Beastlords, pick. The mechants' and their economics goals? The druids and their goal of preserving nature? Both? Neither?

Requirements: Cockatrice with Poisonous teeth, Poisonous claws, and/or Venomous skin (quest requires cockatrice with at least one, call it a cockatrice with poision). Unicorn wih Regeneration or Counterstrike (have quest have both as an or requirement).

Bonus: Extra Energy for a week

A noble man is furious with his daughters choice of suiter, a young low born druid who is only half way through his training. To keep him away the noble is hiring poisionous cockatrices to protect the tower where he has locked his daughter away. The Druid Circle is miffed at the Noble's actions and is seeking Unicorns with counter strike and regeneration to break through the blockade of Cockatrices. Which side will you join?

Shivers Down Your Spine

The Druids Circle respects all of the creatures of Europa, and the other planets, seeing beauty in each and every one of them. Beauty is more than skin deep but not everyone is as tolerant as they are. Cockatrices and Throdamas have always gotten the short end of the stick with their appearances. Cockatrices may appear mean and scary, and Throdamas creepy with their buggy looks, but they have feelings like the rest of us.

It is the Druids Circle's mission to spread awareness of the injustice being done to these two species and help to make people open their eyes, and their hearts, to see these beasts for what they truly are - magnificent creations. Through campaigning and live demonstrations, allowing the public to mingle with the beasts up close, they hope that the negative image of these beasts will be cleared.

Since the Druids Circle can not supply the beasts needed themselves they are calling on Beastlords who already tend for and love their pet Cockatrices and Throdamas to send them to spread the word. The pets must be brave enough to face the crowds and keep their composure even when the faint-hearted shreik and gawk at them.

Do you care for your very own Cockatrice or Throdama? The Druids Circle is using the Quests tab in its search for beasts, and it will also act as a poll. The species that is sent to help the most is the one that is already tolerated the most. The species would have also exhibited great bravery in overcoming the pressure of coming before an intolerant crowd and therefore will leave with more courage than they began. The Druids Circle is looking for brave Cockatrices and brave Throdamas to face the scorn of the public in hopes of melting their hearts.

Why: Talented beastlord is using beasts to improve his fighting techniques (I know it sounds weird!)

The Warlocks and Knights have been rather uneasy lately. Checking in on them, it seems a war over the new leader is about to occur. The Warlocks have the Symurgh and their magical abilities willing to fight on their half while the Knights have persuaded the tough lykos to work on their behalf to stop the Warlocks before disaster strikes. 

It is a tough war to fight, the Warlocks and the Knights are hoping to rally some of the Beastlords to bring in their strong Symurghs and Lykos to participate in this war and help them to help out as they could use all the allies they can.

The Secret Battle for the Island

The State Portal Service has recently discovered a portal to a new island that the Geological Exploration Service wishes to explore in order to map its terrain and assess any value it may have in terms of natural resources. The island holds great promise with its vast forests and mountains that could potentially be harboring essential metals and other materials the Guild of Miners could excavate.

This discovery has excited many of the various Guilds and Organizations who wish to lay claim to the island's bounty but first the Geological Exploration Service must submit their report. All of their attempts to send pets to the island to acquire the needed data, however, have been in vain. They believe that the native wildlife is posing as an obstacle to their exploration.

Unknown to the Geological Exploration Service is that this is far from a newly discovered island; the Counter-espionage Service has inhabited the island for many years and much of its inner dealings take place in this hidden base. With the secrecy of the island no longer a factor they are in danger of a security breach, and so the agents are sending their own beasts to thwart the explorers in their mission.

Each group is needing to send more and more beasts to their cause to protect their interests. The Counter-espionage Service can not risk being found out or else it could jeopardize their operation in the area. The Geological Exploration Service has no plans for backing down though, as failing in its job to explore the island would be a great embarrassment to them. The beasts they are using to accomplish these tasks will have demonstrated great skill in their ability to manuever on the island and thus will have gained the ability to explore more islands for less energy if they succeed.

Who will you support? With their own numbers not being enough, each group is utilizing the Quests tab to hire pets for their cause: the Geological Exploration Service is looking for brave Pumas with Scout to explore the island and face the mysterious opposition while the Counter-espionage Service is looking for intelligent, Determined Unicorns to keep them away.

Note:: There are relatively few Pumas and Unicorns with these dominant genes so this quest is meant to help encourage the breeding of more who possess them.

2. Who and why: The Conclave of Warlocks is in pursuit of Ollie in an attempt to uncover the secrets he is keeping and discover the origin of the Random Box.
3. Requirements: Hound for Lykos, Massive Wings for Roc

What's Up, Ollie?

Ollie, the slippery lad he was, was hanging low and keeping a low profile ever since the Random Box incident. The Warlocks were still snooping around, wanting to question him as to how he had come into possession of such a powerful item, but he had no answers to give. None he was willing to give up anyways. But they were a persistent bunch and managed to track him wherever he managed to flee to. It wouldn't be much longer now until Ollie was caught and taken into the custody of the Warlocks for questioning.

The Association of Gamblers had denied Ollie sanctuary when he had first went to them for help. He had connections within but they didn't want to get mixed up in the sort of trouble Ollie had gotten himself into; there was no escaping the Warlocks. They weren't even human, not anymore at least, and they made well sure of that.

The Warlocks were closing in on Ollie surprisingly fast, making use of the Lykos' Hound ability to track the runaway, but Ollie wasn't going down without a fight and, if he had to go down, it would be with a bang. While he didn't have the same sort of resources as the Conclave of Warlocks he wasn't just some lowlife lackey scraping to get by. He could make it worth the while of anyone who assisted him.

It would take the Warlocks no more than a week's time to apprehend Ollie unless he managed a great escape. His plan was to use Massive Winged Rocs to wipe away his tracks and stir up great gusts of wind to throw off his scent trail. It would take a mighty force working together to outwit the trained Lykos that were after Ollie but it wasn't an impossible task.

The Conclave of Warlocks, as it was, was growing weary of the chase but was just as determined as ever to capture Ollie and attain his secrets. The mysteries of the Random Box's origins were just outside of their grasp and it frustrated them to no end that they had made no progress of their own in discovering how the transdimensional item had come to exist. Hiring the Lykos did not come cheap but the promise of a potion that would increase their beasts' hp upon Ollie's capture was enough to draw the attention of the Beastlords; unluckily for them though was that Ollie was willing to match their price should the Beastlords be willing to help him instead.

Will you help Ollie escape the Conclave's clutches or assist the Warlocks in their pursuit of answers? In 7 days one of the two will have their way, so go to the Quests tab now: the Conclave of Warlocks is looking for Lykos with Hound while Ollie is looking for Rocs with Massive Wings.

Note:: Okay, I have to admit it... the existence of Ollie has been bugging me ever since I discovered him earlier today. It makes no sense to me why he would be mentioned by name, and even given the character trait of being "slippery," when he has so far only had the one short appearance. I want more Ollie! Just enough to get to know him a little. The Young Lord hosted the big competition between the Pumas and Griffons just to get himself a pet while Ollie was in possession of a transdimensional item and he only got a few lines! Even if this event doesn't fit into any plans that are made aready, please let there be more Ollie! I'm begging you.

Species: Dragon and Unicorn

Who and Why: The species would be the ones competing. Of course the main reason they would be competing for is the prize. These animals are both found in lots of fairy tales. Most the time Dragons are with the Villains and Unicorns with the Hero's. Now we can see which side has the better pet.

Requirements: Dragons and Unicorns at or above level 20

Bonus: They have proved witch one of them belongs in fairy tales now they need a fairy tale ending. For 7 days if you put any of the winning species in a reserve you get double the money back for putting them there.

Description:

For hundreds of years people have been writing and reading Fairy tale stories. The most common animals in their stories are Dragons and Unicorns. Most The time Dragons will be found with the worst of Vilions and Unicorns are found with the best of Heros. What most people do not know is fairy tale stories are true.

In a far off Kingdom lives these Heros and Villans and they are beastlords with lots of beasts. Every war starts with a disagreement. Both the Villains and the Hero's think they have the better beasts. It seems simple, but Villains over react most the time. An all out war has broken out between the Villains and the Hero's.

Both sides sent their most experienced beast (Level 20) to fight in the war. Now who really has the beast to win the war? We will have to see who wins the war?

To enter their pets in the war they just have to go to the quest tab. To see who wins just add up how many battles each sides animals have won and then subtract the battles they have lost. The highest number wins the war.

The winners will get their Happy Ever After. If you send the winning type of animal to a reserve during 7 days you will be given a little more money than if it is the other type of pets.
