I decided to record information as well and did it for the last 120 islands, if anyone is interested:

I had the best luck in the Desert and Jungle and had a 12.5% drop rate with guardians. (231 guardians defeated and 29 eggs found)

Guys: okay I'v come up with a theory that may help with the dropped number of eggs wer'e finding. If the hoppers are connected to the eggs some how should we be defeating them in battle? - I don't know if this will affect the amount of eggs we are finding but if we stopped defeating the hoppers in battle and just left them there to settle for a while on the island do you think it would give them time to be the "easter-bunny" andd give out the eggs to the gaurdian monsters? This of course all depends on if the hoppers are connected at all but my theory has worked so far with me and I have a r\steady increase of eggs found- please tell me what you guys find if you do try the theory.

@Butterflyhill382 I was thinking the exact opposite of you...for me it appears that any time I leave them be I have a much much much harder time finiding eggs...as in 1 egg every 30 islands...but when I kill them constantly the eggs pop up very often (1 egg every 3 islands)

I save all my energy flow cards for events and my watch flock is now 50 birds. I've also developed a system for efficient energy use but the biggest factor is probably that I don't have much of a life off-line.

whoa, 400?! I only got around 59 (plus 9, of which I traded for some vermillion). Wonder if they traded for most of their eggs, saw quite a few offers there.
