There's also one where
Your Reptile Catcher tried to catch a Cockatrice at the Creek and ran away to save his life.

I've actually read somwhere that difficulty to catch depends on stats. At level one, stats are basically dependent on genes.
So that's probably a pretty nice cockatrice Aelisk, I hope you catch it.

Thanks, I hope so too ;D
I'll edit this and post it here after I catch it. I'm pretty sure that the only ones left running around in my map is this one cockatrice and a second mystery puma that disappeared earlier -_-
Guessing positions is fun - I'm going to miss this when I build Cartographer's.
Edit: Your Reptile Catcher caught a Cockatrice at the Heart of the Forest. See the pet.
Well, the int is high, but thats about it :/ Just unlucky then

The Cartographer's Guild is really cool. It shows pictures of where pets are. I thought the pictures would be what the pet looked like but when I caught the dragon that I thought was a spotted white one, it was actually a green one. :( Ah well.

I'm confused about how this works. It goes from Den -> Watering Hole -> Huntign Area, right?
How come it seems like there's a lot of Watering Hole -> Den (above, Puma from Waterfall to Heart of the Forest, and Waterfall to Big Tree)? Does that mean they fought and lost?

@ Smallguy
It probably started its cycle a few turns ago, or possibly on the previous turn.
(I'm new but I've learned a lot in the past week about the catchers system)
And I FINALLY caught my first Roc! Female, yay.. after like 13 other different creatures, namely gryphons and unicorns.

I was a few cycles in. It's not always Den -> Watering Hole -> Hunt sometimes it's Den -> Watering Hole -> Den -> Hunting Area -> Den
