Spring is truly stunning! If I would make one suggestion, it would be for the flowers in her tail. Perhaps if they wove around the tail or had some way to attach with a small ribbon or vine? Only a small thing. I love her!

I actually named one of my lykos Freyja, and I got her just after Christmas. Just yesterday I saw your costum skin of the Nordic Goddess Freyja, and literally wanted to get another normal brown lykos so I could paint my Freyja to look like her.

I just thought it was an everyday Nordic name, in which I found it meant "Lady". I didn't know it was a Nordic Goddess of the Aurora Borealis.

Wait... i still have that rainbow jar from Christmas....

She is a goddess of many things! Mostly love, beauty, fertility, and in some cases death. She has a sleigh/chariot pulled by cats. You are correct that Freyja means "lady" ^^

It is said that when Freyja rides with the Valkyries she brings with her the Aurora. 

It was a small thing to pick up on in the story of one of the "more important" goddesses. But I felt that it was unique and something that I could translate to art... unlike something less tangible such as fertility or love. And is the Aurora not beautiful? 

I think it fits :)

I may be able to attach the flowers with a ribbon... hmm... but vines may look better :D I do like the idea of ribbon. Maybe in her horns.

Since my lykkos named Freyja is pregnant, I can't paint her for another 11 hours. She will soon have that skin though. I love it!.

For Ēostre, Norse Goddess of Spring, I too like the idea of a ribbon or vine woven around her tail. More so vine, to give a more nature feel, but I'm sure you could do someting with a ribbon as well.

I just added a ribbon around her neck, I'm going to have an emerald broach holding it together. I think I may do vines on her tail. I tried ribbon... just couldn't get it to wrap how I pictured it. But I need to add some to her horns! 

I feel like something needs to go on her back... Hmm..

Mythology and history are fascinating to me! I especially love nordic and Native American mythology :D Glad it will be of use!

I do not know how easy or hard to do this idea but its an idea...

Perhaps replace the lykos horns with fish spikes reminicent of the Gurnard perch.

Maybe you should try doing Sleipnir, the eight-legged horse ridden by Odin, although I'm not sure if its possible because well... . He has eight legs. >.<
