Iirc the pet must be at least Lv. 45 before they can go up agaist the Kami. I would say even with GP 1 pets you still need some luck unless the pet have some incredible genes.

I'd like to borrow a pet that can beat Death, if anybody has one to spare. My only pet who can battle it isn't managing very well even after boosting her stats with all the goodies from Christmas. I can offer an Essence of Death in return, or silver, for the trouble.

Thanks for the answer, Verl! I have a dragon I planned on using--level 50 with dominant robust scales, but no GP. I have several good pets, it's just that only one of them has GP. And she's only level 13, so I couldn't use her for the kamis anyway.

My borrowed cockatrice has just been sent to procure the last venom jar I need in order to face Pestilence, so I can try for my first kami soon. Then I just need a couple of essences and I'm on my way to the other two (not trying for War--my squad's not good enough). Wish me luck, fellow Beastlords!

Amberfly there are less people around the ancient battlefield right now and there isn't anyone around the one in the mirror, so you can still try. I only need to win 17 battles before I'm finished with the battlefield. In the homeworld there are two squads for that part.

Levels have nothing to say on the battlefield, so if you change Ruahane with a normal pet or with one who has bad genes but special tactic it would be better. And allways try to reroll the red and the waiting if you land on that. You should try to look trough your pets to get most special tactics possible in your squad. I'm sure you can do it ^^

Thanks for the advice, but I wasn't worried about holding the battlefield--I held the Crimson Tree long enough, after all. I just don't think I can get 20 wins before the event ends. So far I've been involved in two actual battles and lost both times--I have zero wins. But I may try it, who knows =)

Edit: Turned up some low-level pets with special abilities and decided to go for it. Going to try and fight my way to the ancient battlefield and hopefully win enough battles for a war kami!

Like I said there are two dumby squads that have been put on the homeworld, but maybe those who is finished on the battlefield can put some more ?
