Red star== degeneration (pet's parents were related).

Green star==genetic power or "descendant of heroes" (pet's parents were level 50).

You need to create a title first.

Go to your Pets page and click on Manage my Titles and follow the steps there.

Then, go to your pet, and under its name there is a little dropdown box where you can choose which title it should have.

I was just wondering, how do you become part of Beastkeepers staff?

Well the admins are the game owners. There are a couple of mods, but they aren't very active. I don't think there are any staff openings, sorry.

Are all Schemes single-use only? I made a golem and some other craftable item and think the recipes left from my library; want to be sure before I craft any more. Would you need 3 Hourglass schemes to make 3 hourglasses, for example?

V Thank you for clarifying that! ^^

Schemes aren't single use.  However, golem schemes disappear once you craft them and they appear back once the golem expires. You can find the golems you have running under Inventory>Golems. So you would only need one hourglass scheme to create three hourglasses.

Fyi, building blueprints are single use, however,

Find vermillion on the ground in explore, in chests and if you kill the weird red lizardy things ("vermillion from magic seal").

I get most of mine from Tundra, which happens in January and February.

You can also get vermillion from holding the special sectors on the Battlefield for ten hours.

If a pet has 3 genetic power stars and 1 degeneration star, does it mean that the pet has 2 genetic power stars and no degeneration stars? (you know what I mean)

No, GP and degen don't cancel each other out--they're separate things. That pet will still have the 30 points per stat bonus from its GP, but it will also have whatever bad genes it got from degen.

On January 1st, a new biome to explore will appear on the explore page called the Tundra. In the Tundra, there's a portal that allows you to explore even deeper. Each dept is a level. Once you reach Tundra level 10 or deeper you have the chance to find a Pristine Snowflake. Here's where you can find more information https://beastkeeper.com/thread/8774

And the chance to get a deviant doesn't change based on the genetic power, there's still the 1/10 chance the baby will be a deviant if born homozygous color or pattern. So as long as you meet the requirement for both a deviant and GP3 baby, the chance to get one is still 1/10.
