I was sorting through my stables today when I noticed that I had a pet with a silly and normal wits gene that are both marked at 70 gp but for some reason silly is dominant over normal wits, even though they have the same gp.

EDIT: Just found another gene that has its values screwed up. This time with faint-hearted and normal. Looks like it's time to formally go through my stable to see what else is screwed up.

It's because they have degeneration. The gene power of "bad" genes increases when a pet is inbred :)

Ah, I see. I didn't realize that it messed with the GP values. I thought it just threw new, negative genes into the pool.
