I was born in the Netherlands, moved to New Zealand when I was about 18 months old and grew up there, and I emigrated to Canada via the States when I was in my late 20s. I love it here and, while I enjoy travelling I think this will always be my home base.
I spent this morning watching seals chasing sea otters off the beach to get away from a pod of orcas that was out in the strait while a couple of young deer set off car alarms for fun in the car park of the apartment building next door. This place is AWESOME.

I'm from exotic Fiji! English is my second language, so no judgey there on my grammar. My first language is Fijian. (I know it sounds fake). And I'm learning Fiji Hindi! All the tourists ask if I am visting from Hawii. Why cant people think I live there!
