For every [in-game] month different bonuses could be given out for all creatures that qualify for the category. The bonuses would be random improvements that would apply to things like energy, task time, stat enhancements, etc. There could even be one bonus for each week of that month. That way, each bonus would only last 4 [real] hours.
For the Month of Catcher, it could be one of the following:
- no bonuses are given out,
- all pets get a chosen bonus (least favorite option, since it's too easy),
- player has an increased chance of finding rare items in chests,
- the State Store (not the Premium Shop) would sell items for 30% - 50% less money,
- all pets get a "Time Bonus" (see below),
- all pets get an "Energy Bonus" (see below) or
- something else.
For example:
Month of Mammal: Unicorns & Pumas could see
- Week 1: Time Bonus - time moves twice as fast for creatures' tasks (e.g - taming, pregnancy, childhood, quests, etc.).
- Week 2: Stat Bonus - one randomly chosen stat (e.g. - Strength, Agility, Hitpoints, Rush Damage, etc.) would be given a +5 to 8 increase for that week.
- Week 3: Energy Bonus - creatures receive +2energy for each hour passed instead of the usual +1.
