I couldn't think of a short title for this, sorry.

So what I actually want is the pet ID to show on the lair and pedigree thumbnails, particularly the pedigree ones. 

With so many similar looking nameless pets, you have to click into each one in the pedigrees when comparing breeding pairs to be sure that the green grandparent out of X and Y on one potential parent isn't the same one as on the other parent's pedigree.

This is especially annoying when you're breeding for rare genes in a very small gene pool so you often find the great-grandparents are the same.

Having pet IDs next to the name in the pedigree would be massively helpful for this.

It would also help check that you've got the right pet for quests or portaling, if you can have a quick glance at the lair group page and check you've got the right pet when you're selecting a pet that you think has smart but is one of 15 other green dragons/white unis/whatever in your lair that are nameless.

Yes, please!! We definitely need something like this. It would definitely save some time or  at least some confusion.

Actually, I dunno if this is new since this posting or if noone noticed, but in the pedigree view you can actually see to ID number of the pet in the tree by mousing over their name and looking at the bottom corner of the screen to see the URL.

Perhaps not what people are aiming for, but it helps.

I personally would love to see something like putting in an advanced listing for the number of children had by an individual. So people could see how many grand and great grand children, etc an individual had.
