The quanity of the amount of food you find has gone down since the first days of the game. One rabbit used to give me 7-9 meat but now I'm lucky to get 4 meat a rabbit. And now that I have 20+ pets I don't want to go exploring with all of them (or have the time to) but I still have to feed them. I think a good alternative would be if the higher level pets got more resources out of a single animal/food item.

Support. I've been having trouble feeding all of my pets as well, for the same reason.

Support! Dusk is the chief breadwinner of this household, so how's he gonna feed all his new siblings if he can't find very many rabbits?

Hello there! My name is Shadow, and I specialize in the collecting and breeding of gryphons. If you'd like to breed with one of my males, or purchase any of my non-gryphons, just shoot me a message!

While I do support the idea of food being easier to come by, this also brings up the question of why you have more pets than you are willing and/or able to explore. If they're just sitting there doing nothing then what is the point of having them?

I support this. Higher level pets get more from bosses why not more food.

Actually, they do. But in a different way.

I noticed once pets hit level 40-ish, two food fields start to appear. By level 50 there are almost always two, so they do have the chance to find double food.

Honestly, I support this.

Yes, you should be able to support the pets you have, but it does get punitive as to time spent after a while, and if you want people playing and having fun in all aspects of the game, they can't be spending every minute they have to play exploring just to be able to feed their stable.

An increase in amount found based on the level of your pet would also encourage people to level their pets towards cap, which can only be beneficial.

Support!

As to the question of why people have pets they won't explore - some people like collecting. I just want one of every species/color. This doesn't necessarily mean I want to get them all levelled and awesome. XD

Silver feeds pets too you know, so as long as you have money they are fed. I think it's 18 a day per pet?

That, honestly, doesn't seem too prohibitive as long as you do the quests. Even breeding and selling good-gened pets should turn enough profit to feed.

I feel like this whole suggestion would just disolve if they added auto-explore, as I suggested here: http://beastkeeper.com/thread/1528

Then the amount of food would be perfectly fine regardless of how many pets you had time to manaully explore, since all the pets you didn't have time to manually explore could be auto-exploring and bringing home enough food to feed themselves plus others.

You're probably right, irrimn, but if auto-explore isn't implemented- and it does seem like it would require a good deal more coding than this suggestion, as it'd be an entirely new feature rather than a tweak to an existing one- then this suggestion is still one worth mentioning and pursuing. :)

No support. Newbies also need to feed their pets, and sometimes they have just as many, why should it be harder for them?

I call Vermillion "Vermi"

I occasionally use an IPad- please excuse spellcheck.

How would this make it harder for the newbs?I think this would make it easier for them.

It's not a disadvantage at all for new players. People who are new to the game will want to explore with all their pets at first. I know I did. They also won't have as many pets to explore with at first either.

Support.

While I can feed with silver it's a nightmare to get enough food even with many of my pets exploring (and yes I have alot)! A small increase in the amount per food you gather would be great. I find quite alot the farms have 1-2 animals on it and a blank space. I get one food stack per farm. It doesn't add up to enough to feed my pets hehe.

Newbies won't have nearly 100 pets.

The reason to have so many pets is to have special colors to breed with. This is a breeding game not just an exploration game.
