I'm afraid of horse riding too. Trotting is fine, but 2 strides of cantering and I'm always thrown off. How the heck do showjumpers stay on, after enormous jumps?!

As a kid, I dreamed about horse riding, but it turn aout that I have allergy. Still have. that was real tragedy to me.

Maybe jumpers are glued to saddles?

I think it's all to do with the correct French forward seat. The rider sort of stands in the stirrups and the horse jumps up and over and down without the rider really moving much. Balance is needed, but I don't think you bounce as much as the old "leaning backwards and hoping for the best" method. I think that would knock your spine right up into your skull. Ugh!

I grew out of my cat allergy. I guess after a while it just went away. One is snuggled on my bed as we speak.

I'm good at riding, I just don't get lots of chances to. I think you just have to know the horse your riding. 

I have mild cat allergies, a major alcohol allergy, and, thankfully it passed, but once was allergic to caffeine.  No coffee.  For two years.  It was hell.

I always get more devs when I'm breeding for other stuff. My first deviant (siamese) gryphon was an accident. Was trying to get sharp feathers I think.
