I like the first one... It's got a beautifully formed head and an elegant if heavy conformation. The second one doesn't appeal to me, it doesn't have the same finesse of line if you know what I mean. DON'T MESS WITH PERFECTION :'(((

Reminds me of a band that used footage from an old movie in their music video.  They did't want to keep paying royalties so they just bought the rights to the movie. Which I suppose is the same thing really, but possibly cheaper.

I have an idea. We must all go throughout the land looking for horsies to photograph. The one with the best horsy photo wins our undying gratitude and silver from the use of the custom skin! Yeah, right.

I wonder if you can buy pictures off the net. I need a better job, wiith the ability to acquire internet moneys. It's easier if you're overseas, you can link your bank account to paypal. Here it's a credit card or nothing, and they only give you a credit card if you earn a lot of money per month. Gah. Of course I don''t earn anywhere near the threshold so no internet goodies for me.

It is a random photo, but it's not my random photo. Maybe I can look for free stock ones. Beastkeeper says this in their rules: Photo manipulations aren't allowed. You are free to use your own and Creative Commons photos for inspirations and study but please remember that inspiration doesn't mean exact copying or overpainting. In case of referencing your own stock photos, site administration may ask you to provide the proofs that you're the author of the photo (usually this is a photo in RAW format with proper meta tags). Inability to verify your authorship will result in rejection of the custom skin.

edit: oh, and from multiple visits to Redwings sanctuary. Holy balls, I have a LOT of photos from there.

Might visit again for my birthday, if the weather's good. If you want photos of any specific horse-types (shire, normal, tiny pony, donkey) or angles I can try getting those for you...
