I'm having some success with my breeding, I just got this guy - http://beastkeeper.com/pet/353568
While colour isn't a concern I'm happy how he turned out emerald bicolour. So now my goal is: dominant steel bones, thick skin, double agile paws OR massive wings (recessive), and electric gland/steel beak combo for lightning strike. I'm a bit late, but I'll probably begin seriously training for GP now too.

Bred a Male Lykos today who has Homozygous Hound, Tireless Heart, and Ice Spikes. He also has Recessive Berserker and Sharp Claws and no negatives. He'll be great for my perfect Lykos project.

One parent with 7 unwanted genes gave the best possible genes he could have given (Carried 5 recessives). The other with 6 unwanted genes gave an average amount. Result? Kid has 4 unwanted genes. Dominant Acute eye, Berserk, Sharp Claws, Steel bones, and recessive for everything else. Far surpassed my previous best, who only had 12 hours worth of glory of being at the top.
...Its almost like my recent Lykos luck is being funded by my fail Throdama breedings - 9 out of 9 times Mountain in a Mountain/Lake X Lake/Lake breeding. Whatever, no complaints.

Ahah, yes! As far as things go for now I'm placing in all 4 categories in the Weekly Charts! I've placed in multiple ones before but all 4 is a first for me. The Battles is a touch-and-go sort of thing so I'll need to keep an eye on that but the rest are solid.

Today, I accomplished two big things!
1. I got Rousseau up to level 50!
2. I hit 1 million silver!
Rousseau is the first pet I have gotten to level 50 all by myself! (The others I adopted at level 50). I'm very proud of him.
