I was a little iffy on what to do with this symurgh http://beastkeeper.com/pet/301352 so I used a single mutagen on it and got really lucky when it changed from slow minded to smart. The only way this could have been better was if the silly was changed to smart.

I'm trying to breed more cockatrice for the exhibition, and got this: http://beastkeeper.com/pet/314080
Not useful for the event, but looks like I accidentally bred a pretty nice set of genes. Dominant petrifying gaze, quickmind, steel bones, steel muscles, elemental resistance, and regeneration. Recessive venomous skin and acid gland. And rare colors too. Sweet.

All the cruddy genes make it useless to actually do anything with but I'm kind of surprised it took this long since my SPSB lineage is so inbred that the only color possible is spotted blue.

I made an adoption center since i got so many creatures I decided to part with some of them as I'll most likely never come around to breed them or do anything serious with them. So I thought others might want them instead.

I lucked out at a Genome Project temple...the filly came out with no bad genes, has a wild father, and is deviant!!!

I've been looking for a mate for http://beastkeeper.com/pet/214800. Most of my Symurgh are related... and males.
Then I found a GP3 Symurgh for sale. She had several bad genes, but...
"Thin bones changed to Salt of the Earth."
Gotta love mutagen sometimes. She still has a couple of bad genes left, but with some luck I might be able to breed those out..
(Just never use mutagen on Throdamas. They have too many bad genes and few good ones, it can only end badly.)
