Hello! Great event, totally love it!^^ However, I crafted about 17 recipes and none of it gave me a purple pumpkin, just xp. o.O Why is that? I used those I already had in stock - does it only count when I buy it now from the shop?
Abyss Pumpkins can be used only to purchase the Abyss Drake, so you couldn't spend them for something else in the shop for sure. Did you check the Quest tab in your inventory? All event tokens go in there.

@Angel (#3) Ahhh, then I misunderstood the instruction; I thought any recipe (like compass) from the shop you craft would give you a purple pumpkin. Sorry, my bad. Thanks again for this great event! :))

If you extract pumpkins from cockatrices and dragons, does it remove the gene and give you normal eyesight?

Yes, the genes are removed. To avoid any confusion, there's a warning telling about this when clicking on the extract button.

Good call! We need to add a more obvious way to find this info. Currently the only way is to check the Abyss Drake on my account.

Yes and yes. Amnesia potions don't work for Kami pets.

I did the same thing. ;_; RIP my materials. I wish that part was more clear from the start instead of learned the hard way, but the recipes are (somewhat hard to find) but in the shop to purchase for 5k each.
One makes a pumpkin by combining premium item foods together (1 of each), the other is 2 mutagen potions = 1 abyss pumpkin. It looks like people are trading hell pumpkins for abyss pumpkins in item trades though. That speeds it up.

Apparently you can only buy one drake. Learned the hard way, #2. Or at least, mine is now grayed out- to which I didn't notice until AFTER I collected another 30 pumpkins. x_x

What happens if I extract Fearsome Look/Petrifying Gaze from my Abyss Drake to Abyss pumpkin?
You will get two Abyss Pumpkins and an Abyss Drake without these genes.
