They disappear but give you 2 new snowflakes. So you never get them back.
And no, your first snowflake shouldn't be too rare, the problem would be trying to get past the guardian.

Etelia have the Blizzard gene which gives them virtually the same ability as roc with Massive Wings. These arseholes also may have Silent Pace, Magic Mirror and Ice Aura.
There's a section in the gene library for etelia specifically for their genes.

Anyone have granite or adamantine for sale? I am making charged sticks for portable energy cells and found that I couldn't because I didn't have granite. Also, what level does your pet need to be to reach like tundra level 10+. My lv 41 roc reached level 10 and couldn't find a portal or an etelia or a snowflake and had to leave rippp.
