Pink and Green ones are called- Meanie Plants.

Green and Red- Swamp things.

I call the white one Kthulu.

I call the plant like thing a Triffid. :P

Plant ones: Piranha Plant Thingies

White one: Polar Bear-unicorn

Red & Green ones: Swamp Monsters

Meanie plants and meanest plants?  I do kind of call them boss plants and plants, myself.

The swan things are ... swan things.  The other things are swamp things. 

I've always kind of thought that the swan things looked like chthulu in the overworld shots, but they're very much swan monsters in the up close battle.

I'm with you on the swan gryphon, but the things you're calling "octopus" I always think of a "hedge monster" or "bush monster" and it has always confused me that there's a "purple bush monster". They look like hedge trimmings...

My "conspiracies" are that the swan gryphon, for whatever reason, is susceptible to "rush" and the "green hedge monster" is susceptible to "bite". The purple one kills me. Frequently.

green plant thing = mutate venus fly trap
purple plant thing = vermillian tainted fly trap

From what I've noticed, it works the best like this:

Swan - bite

Plant - blow

Dog - rush

You know if you hover over the monsters with your mouse, it'll tell you their levels. (:

Purple/pink thingers -- Those Things

White monsters -- white guys

green monsters -- greeny gray guys

red monsters -- red monsters

Lol it's funny because I'm always on auto battle so I never saw the swan things up close until recently, but before I used to thin they were rearing unicorns. X3 Oh and I'm lazy a bit too. See I normally save the highest level monster for last if I can so that when I fight it, and probably lose, I won't have to go all the way back to the portal to reset. c:

Oh and my names for them:

Swan Thing - Easy until it's a high level.

 Mean Wolf - The grey/brown one, easy.

 Evil Guardian - The red version of the brown wolf thing, ALWAYS KILLS ME :c

 Green Tentacle Plant - Easy to kill.

 Evil Purple Thing - The purple version of the green plant, ALWAYS KILLS ME.

Oh wow, I find the plant monsters the easiest to kill, even as guardians, the swans middling, and the other monsters hardest. That's the order I'll kill them in, and will go after the plant and swans even if they're a level higher before the lizard monsters cause they're boss to me hehe. I'm surprised to see others have opposite results!

For me, the swanicorns and green swamp things are easiest, then the green plants, then the red swamps, then the purple plants.
