Welcome to a lay out of every genetic power pairing and what will come of it
An offpsring's potential genetic power can often be difficult to estimate before the pairing proves out, and confusing to try to guess.
Here is my attempt to (easily understood hopefully) provide a "calculator" to see what will result from the breeding of two parents depending on their genetic power and if they are level 50 or not. At the bottom is also a degeneration "calculator".
If you do not see your exact pairing in one group it is likely to be in another, with the parent's order swapped (ex if you are looking for the mother's gp, look for the father's gp instead).
A 50 denotes that the parent is level 50.

Seven or More Shared Genes
If the offspring shares 7 or more dominant genes with the parent that is either level 50, or of the higher genetic power, it will gain one extra Gp than what it would receive otherwise.
For examaple, mother is Gp2, father is Gp3. The offspring should be Gp2, but if the offspring shares 7 genes with the father it will be Gp3. Usually both parents would need to be level 50 to achieve this extra Gp point but this is the exception.
Degeneration Information
Degeneration has many more factors than that of genetic power. If the parents are unrelated their offspring will receive different degeneration than if the parents are related. Degeneration stacks along side Gp, a pet can have both Gp3 and Dg3. Degeneration mutates genetics and usually results in an animal of poor quality.
I have not had extensive experience with degeneration breeding so some of these numbers are educated guesses.
