(How old is Forestpaw?)

Pineleaf gave a silent tail signal to Forestpaw.She headed around and leaped onto the fox's shoulders,while Forestpaw scratched it's eyes.

(Erm, 9 moons I guess....)

Forestpaw blinded he fox and it screeched in pain. He hissed again.

(Just wondering how long he would still be an apprentice.)

"Use the jump and hold!"Pineleaf yowled.

Forestpaw nodded and did as his Mentor asked, the Fox screeched again before running off, hitting into things in it's rush.

SmallKit's leg was still bleeding, leaving a trail on the ground. The small, blind kit hung limp and breathed slowly. It was clear the kit was losing a lot of blood.

Windpaw look at the kit and grimaced. Smallkit was leaving a trail of blood on the ground. She carried the kit to the medicine cat's den. There was nobody there. She placed the kit on the ground and looked around frantically. She grabbed some stuff that looked like bandages and wrapped them around the kit's leg.

Angelstar ran into the Medicine cat's den. she knew what to do. "Windpaw, chew the maigold into a poltice, put it on Smallkit's leg, and cover it with cobweb,"  she said fraticly please make it... please make it... please make it... she screamed inside her head.

Forestpaw trotted into camp, one eye closed from the blood dripping down his forehead. He padded into the medcine cats den."Oh, it's you guys." 

Windpaw nodded franticall, then began chewing the marigolds as fast as she could. She hoped with all her might that she was going fast enough, that the remedy would be ready in time, and that Smallkit would make it.

"Do you guys know anything to stop the blood dripping into your eye?" He meowed, licking a forepaw and whiping away the blood.

Windpaw shrugged, eyeing the blood. She chewed even faster, trying to mush the marigolds together. She found a giant leaf and spit out the marigold mush. After getting it all out, she asked the bloody cat, "Any idea how to make a poultic?" She asked.

"Nope," He replied eyeing Smallkit."Is she ok?"

"I hope she will be." Window said, grimacing, "Try putting some cobwebs on it," she said, nodding towards the wound, "don't take all of them, leave as many as you can, we'll need them for Smallkit."

"Okay, thanks." He said, grabbing a couple strands of cobwebs out of the pile, but leaving plenty for Smallkit. He started winding one around the deep cut above his eye.

Windpaw tilted her head, "Maybe you should just shove them on it, I'm not sure, I'm not the medicine cat." She said sheepishly, she probably wasn't supposed to be in here, giving advice about things she had no idea about.
