Windpaw nodded, picked up Smallkit in her mouth, and trotted back to camp. She placed Smallkit down and went looking for Smokefu.

Windpaw briefly turned and flashed her fangs in a smile at the kit. She then called for Smokefur, "Smokefur! It's an emergency, where are you!"

Forestpaw yowled in pain as soon as his Mentor touched him, he must've briefly blacked out from pain because the next time he opened his eyes Smokeheart was standing over him and worriedly licking his ear.

When she couldn't find Smokefur anywhere Windpaw asked one of the other cats to tell the medcat where they were and what had happened. She then grabbed a squirrel from the prey pile snd trotted off towards Forestpaw.

Windpaw loped towards the place where she had left Forestpaw. When she arrived, she dropped the prey at his feet. She wondered if he could reach it.
