Forestpaw went to nod, then remembered he wasn't meant to move."Okay."

Windpaw nodded, she then began the loudest scream that one would ever hear. Once she was done with it, she looked apologeticply at Forestpaw.

Smokeheart heard a cat yell, he sprang to his paws and rushed through the forest, heading towards the sound.

Forestpaw flicked his un-injured ear."It's okay, don't be sorry."

"I probably ruined your good ear." Windpaw said bluntly.

SmallKit's ear twitched, "Did you hear that? It sounds like some cat is in trouble!" The small, blind kit ran off in the direction of the scream -occasionally bumping into trees.

Windpaw's ears twitched. "Somebody's coming, not sure who." She said to Forestpaw.

Forestpaw strained his good ear to hear, but couldn't hear anything.

Smokeheart crashed through the brush and froze when he saw Forestpaw lying on the ground with Windpaw over the top of him."What happened?"

SmallKit kept on running until pain shot up through her leg where the fox bit her. She yelped and tumbled on the ground, nearly missing WindPaw.

Windpaw grimaced. They were probably quire a sight. "We heard a battle cry, so we came to investigat," Windpaw explained, "We found Scratchclan cats, or, more accurately, they found us."

Smokeheart hurried foreward."You kits need to learn!"

"We're not kits." Forestpaw meowed.

"We're not kits." Windpaw agreed, she smiled mischievously, "you should see the other cats."

Smokeheart bent over Forestpaw."Why haven't you walked back to camp? Nothing here is too serious."

Forestpaw didn't respond.

"Who screamed loudly! My ears are more sensitive then yours and let me just tell you IT HURTS!" SmallKit yowled angrily, coming up from behind them covered in dirt and mud.

Windpaw jumped as something was said directly into her ears. She whirled around to see Smallkit. "Smallkit! You startled me!" she said to the kit.

"Smallkit!" Smokeheart said surprised.
