I am wondering if there is a chat where you can see what people write and have conversations. This game seems an interesting challenge, but I do not think I understand all of it yet.

There's no real-time chat feature, if that's what you're asking, but you're always welcome to ask questions about the game on the Help Board. I'd also be glad to help you if you ever want to PM me directly. I can't guarantee that I'll be able to answer right away, but I usually log on several times a day, and should be able to get back to you before long.
