Faelin gave him a dirty look, "Work on your sarcastic voice."

"It's meant to sound like you're not joking." He stood up.

"Then you must come from a place where sarcasm is used crudely, you scared me there." Faelin admitted, her eyes taking in Rory, noting that she was, in fact, breathing.

Chase sighed."And you should get to know children of Apollo better."

"Children of Apollo?" She asked, kneeling down to check the girl's pulse.

"Yeah, my dad's Apollo." Chase replied, grabbing a cube of Ambrosia out of his pocket and eating it.

"Must be a pretty sarcastic guy. How many siblings do you have?" She asked.

Chase shrugged."About 30. But the creepy thing is, is that mist of them are around my age."

Faelin's head jerked up. "For one, how can one guy have thirty children? And you're right, having 30 siblings the same age as you is creepy."

Chase nodded."Still don't know who your parent is yet, huh? Haven't been claimed...."

"And now you're talking nonsense." Faelin said, standing and looking at Chase.

"One question, how old are you?" Chase asked.

"Somewhere around thirteen or fourteen. Probably fourteen." Faelin said, trying to figure out in her head how old she was.

Chase looked at her puzzled,."You don't know your age? Anyway, you should've been claimed like, two years ago."

Faelin raised her eyebrows again, "Still talking nonsense. Anyways, didn't you get my life story already? Family burned, lived on the streets, so on and so forth. Yeah, not sure about the whole age thing."
