Gretchen tried to step over to the voices but ended up tripping on something, she wiggled her hands around trying to keep her balance but fell headfirst. "Happen to have a flashlight or something?" She asked the voices.

Chase gulped. There was deffinately someone in there."Hold up." He called and reached out his hand not holding the sword. He switched on the lightswitch and the room flooded with light, making him squint.

Faelin gasped as the light revealed a girl. She was laying in the ground. Faelin shoved past Chase and went to help her up.

(What voices?)

Rory's eyes swam. She could open them now, but it didn't do anything. Either it was incredibly dark, or.... Great. Rory was blind again.

Faelin knelt next to the girl. "Who are you, and are you okay?" She asked, looking into the girl's face.

"Err... I'm Gretchen and no I'm not fine I need to get back to my house!" Gretchen started to cry a bit as she stood up.

Chase paused at the doorway. He hated people crying."Erm.... Well, that might not be an option."

"Chase? Faelin? Are you there? Who are you talking to?"

Rory was a little scared. Scrap that, she was terrified. 

"You don't understand! Our house caught on fire and when I got home he was dead!" Gretchen hiccuped and cried harder.

Chase faltered."That happens alot here." He said, then continued."My mother was killed by a....... Creature." He didn't say what.

Faelin shushed them both, not even listening to what Chase had said about his mother. "Hear that?" She said turning her head to giver her ears a better angle.

"Hear what?" He whispered. He turned around noiselessy, searching around for any sign of movement.

"I heard someome yelling." Faelin looked at Chase, "Yelling for us." She said, looking around.

"Stay here with that girl, I'll be right back." He ran silently outside.

"Chase? Faelin? Come on, if it's you, say something! Helllooooooo??!!?!!?!"

Rory heard Chase leave the room. Fantastic. He was the only one to know about what happened to her sight before....
