Chase grabbed the flag and turned around to find he'd been surrounded. He tucked it into his pocket and held his sword out, ready to deflect the blows.

Gretchen woke up, dazed. She looked up at the black sky. Black? Where are the stars? She thought to herself. She blinked a few more times as her head started buzzing loudly.

They came at him like a tornado. He blocked, parried, jabbed and deflected.

Faelin tried to keep up with the red warrior , but he was too fast for her. He almost had her when she realized that Chase had never said that you had to sword fight. She parried the warrior's blow and punched him as hard as she could in the stomach. He doubled over and she ran over to help Chase.

Chase kicked a guy in the face, then blocked another blow, before nocking th sword out of someones hand.

Faelin slashed and kicked and even bit someone as she fought toward the center of the circl. She finally made it into the center abd then gestured to Chase. She then began fighting out of the circle of red warriors.

Chase kicked a guy in he face and heard a crack, then blood streamed down the kids face."Sorry!" Chase called running through the circle.

Faelin found a new weapon. Her long black hair was free and covered with blood, it also made a good whiplash that left opponents temporarily blinded. Therefore, her battle looked strange as she fought to get out of the circle that she had fought to get into. She whipped her hair, kicked, punched, and parried and delivered blows with her sword and her fists. She hit a guy in the stomach and he fell, knocking others behind him down like dominos. She walked over them a bit to make sure they stayed down, and began running towards their headquarter.

Chase jumped the river but was knocked down in mid-leap. He plunged into the freezing waters, his head hit a stone and black conquered everything.

Faelin whipped around in time to see so,etching connect with Chase, knocking him into the river. She quickly sheathed her sword and ran along the river ahead of him. She jumped onto some slippery rocks, almost falling down herself. She tried to grab him and drag  to shore. In the end, she accomplished this goal, but it ended up with both her and Chase becoming thoroughly soaked.

Chase's head lolled against his chest and his breath was shallow. He felt himself being dragged from the river, but he lay there, not moving.

Faelin quickly made sure that Chase was breathing. She then slapped him, hard. "Wake up!" She called into his ear.

(Dang, I missed a lot.)

Rory shifted in her red team uniform, getting ready to jump into the mass of swords, spears, and bows and arrows.

"Chase, you left without me!"

Techniacly she wasn't supposed to be playing, but she hated sitting out. She still had a limp, but she figured her flying shoes would help with that. 

She grinned at Chase's baffled expression, just visible above the fight. Then her scowled, pointing to Rory then drawing his thumb across his neck. His expression said "What the heck are you doing out of bed!!!"

Chase coughed up a mouthful of water, choking and turned onto his side.

"Next time you plan on going swimming, pick a different time." Faelin teased, sticking out her hand to help him up.
