"Okay, now...." And on it went for several hours, Chase and Faolin sparing.

Faelin sparred with Chase untill it began to get dark. She was really sore, but felt accomplished. "Where does a person get any food around here?" She asked him when they were taking a break.

A day later Gretchen got on a bus. "NewYork" she mumbled and gave the driver the last of her money. Gretchen sat in an empty row and looked out the window. When the bus finally stopped she hopped off and started walking to her house.

Gretchen stared at her house, horrified. the once sturdy house had been completely burnt to the ground. "DAD!" Gretchen shouted as she ran around, searching for clues of where he might be. After hours of searching Gretchen's heart stopped, "No..." She whispered as she sat in front of her father's body, covered with wood and cement.

'

Chase grinned."When the bell goes, I'll sh-" He was cut off by a loud bell."Right on cue."

"Great, I'm starving." Faelin said, she actually meant it too, she had always been hungry while in the streets, "Literally."

"Follow me." Chase sheathed his sword and walked out of the Arena. He followed all the kids to the covered area where they'd all eat.

Faelin sheathed her sword as well in a sheath that Chase had given her. She hurried after him.

Chase walked to the Apollo table, then paused."You haven't been claimed yet, so, I guess you need to sit there -he pointed to an overcrouded table- but, it isn't necesairy."

"Okay." Faelin said, "Where's the food?" She asked, a little sheepishly.

Gretchen felt anger boiling inside of her, "WHY ARE YOU NEVER HERE FOR ME MOM! WHY DO YOU NOT CARE ABOUT ME!" Gretchen started to cry, her tears flooding down her face. Gretchen cried harder and laid her head on her dad's chest, and before she knew it Gretchen fell asleep, tears stil wet on her face.

Chase grinned and handed her a plate."Just say what food you want." He said, then he muttered something and his plate filled with a burger and fries.

Faelin' eyebrows raised. "More magic." She sighed and then went to sit with the kids at the table that Chase had told her to sit at. She ate a delicious meal of pancakes and then sat and looked around the room.

Chase inhaled his food in seconds and waited for Chiron to give his speach. But it didn't come. After awhile Chiron sent everyone to do the Games in the forest."Faelin!" Chase called looking for her through the croud of exited Demi-Gods streaming into the forest.

Faelin was pushed along with the crowd. Where are we going? She wondered. 

"Faolin?" Chase called again. He couldn't find her. he stood infront of everyone."Okay! Time to nominate leaders!" Most people went with Chase, so he bacame one. Along with another camper."Okay! Red team get the back forest, blue team the front! The game begins.....NOW!"
