Rory heard the bellowing of a cyclops, and she tried to sit up again. Note the use of the word 'tried'. She couldn't even wiggle her fingers!!!

Chase sped up the tree to where Ariana lay, unconscious. He grabbed her and passed her down to another Apollo camper, than they ran back to their cabin.
