"Chase," Rory coul have thought of a million ways to say Chase was stupid and reckless, but that would make Rory a hypocrite. Plus, if he'd stayed in the infirmary....

"Thank goodness your ok."

Rory wasn't sure if Chase could see or hear her, but that didnt really matter. She ruffled his hair, scared to hug him in case she damaged him even more.

Two of his brothers started ushering Rory away, insisting that those outside needed her, and that they could handle it.

Rory held her torch high, and waved he sword, the signal to the 15 others with fire. They ran forward, lopping off heads and burning the stumps. The wooden rain had mostly stopped, enough for the injured to be moved to the Apollo Cabin where they would be properly treated, but only because the Hydra had almost run out of forest or rip up.

Gretchen lifted her head up to see a bunch of kids, attacked the many headed dragon. She was scratched and bleeding all over her. Gretchen watched in amazement as they attacked the dragon, cutting of its heads.

So... Um... I'm not dead. Ehm.

Rory spotted a girl, looking scared and almost dead. Much like everyone who turned up at Camp.

"Travis!! Take this!!" Rory handed her torch to her brother, and sprinted over, pulling her shield over her shoulder.

Once she reached the girl, she knelt down next to her. "Hello, um... you should probably come with me. You'll be... Safer-ish inside. Hurry!!"

Chase wasn't allowed anymore nectar or Ambrosia, so he had to wait for nature to cure his broken ribs. Great.

Rory dragged the girl with her, trying to avoid the monsters falling body. The successful campers cheered, but they didn't see Rory push the new girl out of the way and into the boundaries. Sthey didnt see the hydra's claw fall on her, crushing her.

Rory hated being unconscious. It sucked. What was even worse, was that she could still feel her broken bones, and her probably punctured lungs. Every breath seemed to only give her that sense. It was like she was holding her breath. The monster was gone, (dissolved into monster dust) but nothing could help.

Well, at least this isn't a stupid way to die,

Rory thought. She could vaugly hear the shouts of the other campers, one in particluar was loud and urgent.

Rory couldn't breathe. She suddenly couldn't feel anything. Her pain disappeared, and her need to breathe. The frantic voices started to fade too. She saw Chase push through the crowd, shouting, obviously freaking out.

Rory wanted to speak, but her broken jaw wouldn't let her. She tried to smile at her friend.
