She pulled the cards out of her dark blue hoodie's pocket and shook them in Chase's face.

Rory didn't actually give Chase any time to answer. She slumped onto the end of his bed.

Rory looked at her cards. Nothing worth saving for the right moment. She took a card from the top of the drawing deck, and placed it on the bed, right above Chase's foot.

Gretchen ran through the streets, her footsteps rapidly hitting the ground. She was eating with herfather after a bad day at school, when out of the blue a giant creature with one eye broke down their house. Gretchen shook her head and stopped, no. This was all going in her head. Gretchen looked behind her and screamed as the one eyed man stood behind her...

So... Um... I'm not dead. Ehm.
