Conclave of Warlocks is looking for Colored Eggs!

Hunt all guardian monsters on islands to collect the eggs. Here's a sample:

Island explorers reporting a big number of colored eggs found in the lairs of guardian monsters. Weirdly the guardians don't destroy or consume these eggs. These eggs belong to an unidentified species and may contain peculiar genetic sequences. The Conclave is highly interested in collecting some samples and researching them. As always, the Warlocks are counting on the help of the Beastlords and offering nice rewards for the eggs!

Beastlords have also noticed the population of Hoppers expanding to the new biotopes. Is this somehow related to the eggs?

Anyone find any eggs yet? I got nothing :/ But the event is still new so maybe I'm just impatient.

I havent found any yet but like liandralithe said its still new. But when i find an egg i will probably be jumping up and down like a monkey!

I've found 3 so far :)

look in the grasslands- there seems to be a lot there, besides that's where the hoppers "originated" . It makes perfect sense if you look at the clue at the bottom.

I've been going around the desert if that helps anyone.  I think I'm just lucky :)

You guys are lucky, i have been goignthrough the grassland and only found one hopper. But no eggs at all

I've found about 6-8 hoppers.  So I would try the grass lands! I'm not sure if the amount of hoppers you see on the map determines if there are any eggs there or not... 

I guess we will find out as the event goes on lol

Try the Desert Braveheart, thats where I'm having a ton of luck :)

Edit: The map had one hopper, and I found 1 colored egg, so they may be connected that way or its just a coincidence.

no, it's a coincidence. I went on a island with around 4 hoppers but I didn't get any eggs at all.

Two things- 

one- Wouldn't it be cool if for every rabbit we get on a island instead of getting rabbit-meat we got the colored eggs? 

two- in case you haven't fiured it out you have to trade your eggs for them to count at the exchange station- having them in your inventory doesn't do anything.

I noticed that too.  It's kind of annoying >.<
