I'm searching for a "Battlefield Mentor", in other words: someone who will help me figure out how to actually use the battlefield.

We're talking everything from what qualities am I looking for in a Battlefield pet, to how to understand the whole roll/re-roll thing.

I'm asking because I'd really love to be able to participate in Kami events and at least have a fighting chance rather than be shut down by tasks requiring the battlefield.

lol, I don't think you need a mentor for this, since I figured it out without one.

Anyways, some tips:

0. You win by scoring more points then your opponent

1. Study the Tactics FAQ -- It helps by showing you what maneuvers a pet can have, as long as it meets the requirement, and how much they score. (Look at the list of genes to help, or this google doc if you're lazy).

2. It might be a good idea to look through some of the squads on the battlefield, while a Strategist vists / Premium Subscription is on, to see what maneuvers other people are running.

3. Actually trying helps you figure out stuff, so might be a good idea to make a squad and try attacking some of the players in the battlefield.

4. Remember to change your pet's tactics --: You do this by going to the pet's profile (clicking it's hame/portrait), then clicking the Tactics tab, next to Genetics; once there, click the maneuver you want to change, then one you want it as; save when done.
