If I'm not wrong, Honeybag Ants convert to Plant Carbs after collecting from explore. 

So, here's what happened-

I collected 15 Honeybag Ants from a desert island that I was exploring. After that, I checked my inventory and noticed the amount of Plant Carbs was not increased. I had 54 plant carbs before exploring and it was the same amount after exploring and collecting. :/ Weird. Shouldn't I now have 69 Plant Carbohydrates? I apologise if I have made a mistake anywhere.

Edit: Ok, I forgot to post the screenshot. But here's the link to the pet in case it's helpful. He has not left the island, yet.

Ants are animals, so they are converted into Animal Carbs :)
