I need soapshroon and hops but don't know how to get them, other Noobs are welcome to ask about items they need too.

You get them by exploring. You'll have to explore quite a lot as they aren't that common.
You might be able to buy some in Item Trades if people are selling, too.
Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
