I've got a few ideas bouncing around. I've always loved free-form, character-driven RPs, so any sort of Fantasy adventure, School setting, or mystery/drama type of thing is right up my alley.

Preferably I like having a few people involved since I'm terrible at keeping characters straight if I'm running multiple in the same setting. 

Forum RPs are my favorite because I have kind of bad memory so I can skim my previous posts easily, but I'm also ok with PM or IM style RPs.

I do have a lot on my plate right now (getting married next week, eeeek), but I can still manage at least a post a day.

Idea #1: Generic fantasy RP, starting in a busy trading town. Don't really have any good conflict idea for this one yet, but any fantasy race/alignment is cool as long as there's a good backstory for it.

Idea #2: I'll admit it, I have been just dying to play a HP-universe school RP. Hard to find good ones, so why not just start my own? I'd be stricter about god-modding for this than the fantasy one, it's no fun being the classmate of the 1/4-veela, 1/4-vampire with luxurious silver hair who's already casting at a 7th-year level :P this would be set well past the books, so it'd be all original characters, just playing in an existing sandbox.

Idea #3: Misfit circus. This could easily be semi-fantasy in the modern era, those oddball humans with little quirks or traces of unusual bloodlines or abilities. This would probably be drama-heavy.

I would love to do the first or second idea. Especially the second one. It sounds awesome!

I would also be willing to join in, if you don't mind having me around. I agree with SuperHappy, the second one does sound cool, but I would be willing to do any of them. 

Yay! I'll get a thread for the HP one set up once i get home tonight. Figure first years, standard book rules to start, but expanded familiar list. P much anything housepet sized is fine. Character sheets need basics, house, wand, familiar, character desc. I draw, so i can do little avatars if anyone wants.

Do we want to start with getting our letters, or at the train station?

Ok, we're up and running! I'll probably add more info to the first post soon, I was just originally worried about making it too long. I've got teachers invented and everything, but between receiving letters and Diagon we've got a bit before the info is needed.
