I know that clay can be found in any biotope but I am wanting to make a clay golem(and a vermillion golem for that matter).
I have 41/50 clay needed to make the clay golem and 15/30 vermillion needed to make the vermillion golem.
So where would I best find these 2 materials?

I don't know about clay but grasslands are the best place to find vermilion.

Grasslands and deserts are good for finding clay. :)
