So I've been thinking about this for awhile, and I think it would be a good idea.
Boards < Bugs & Suggestions < Refused, Irrelevant or Already Existing Features < "Notify me if this pet goes on sale." Button.

There is a premium feature called triggers which pretty much does the same thing.
