The first question is do we need to rebuild boat, climbing gear and such every time we use it? I think it's pretty likely given the low cost.
If we build more of the same craft item at once, does it take multiple times 4 hours, or just the normal 4 h crafting time?

These items need to be crafted only once. The price is low because it's still Beta and the prices are still unbalanced. The amount of required materials will be increased in the release version (we already have a person who was able to build 9 boats - and yes, you're right, this is too cheap :)).

Also, the amount of time does double to craft multiple.
