I was on the tundra explore on level 7 with my pet Spotted Rebel but....there isn't a green portal to go to the next level. What do I do?

Sometimes the game just decides to be mean and not spawn green portals. Sorry, but this is normal :(

Really? Because I explored in the Tundra 3 times in a row with 2 different pets and still no green portal

Yeah, this happens to me often as well. It's just bad luck :( When I was 1 crystalline ice away from getting my etelia, I wasn't able to get past any level 4 islands for around half an hour because the game wasn't giving me any green portals to go through, lol.
