ok well this maybe a spirit downer and mood changer but i have a huge favor to ask and its really important to me.. well January 5, 2006 my father committed suicide i was almost 9 years old... you may choose what you want to do for the contest its for my dad in memory of him i know no one knows him or me but like i said its very very very important to me... i want everyones most creative minds in this poems memoirs pictures drawings anything I know I am new and I know this will be short timed and i dont have much to give... but anyone that posts will get something but i have to ask that it isnt half thought about (not trying to be rude) but i dont have much and anyone to do something for this day will be rewarded and if i dont have enough then i will have your name wrote down and get you as much as i can... sorry again.... the prizes will be as big as i can afford pets and materials and money will be rewarded this contest ends January 5th 2016

I'm not very good at poetry, but I will try since it is important to you.

Grief must be forgotten,

The person always remembered.

Their soul will live on,

In the hearts and minds of those remembering,

Always giving joy and guidance,

Whenever it is needed.

Just remember him and he'll be there

always deep within the soul

just know he will be there forever

Grief is a burden

Cold, thick, and dark

Bet you must always remember,

Theres a journey you must embark

Deepest in our darkest days, we collapse and cry

But just know in our hearts, everything is fine.

Remeber those who've we lost, but dont let it bring us down

Just do what they'd want you to, move on and stay strong

And know that a smile brightens all those around, much more than a frown
