I was sorting out my titles today and tried to edit a title - but it never worked. I cannot make any new titles/edit any. Why????

What do you mean by "titles"?

You need to click where it says Manage My Titles in order to make/edit titles. If you're already there I don't know why you can't edit them.
You can ony have 5 titles for free, after that for each additional title you need buy a title scroll from the premium shop or trade for it somehow.
