We have sacrifice concept in the game itself. There were events where players had to sacrifice pets in order to get a kami.
Virgin is hardly a 13+ term. In my childhood there was a super popular game developing company named Virgin, authors of such super popular 8bit games like Lion King and Jungle Book. Back then, all kids in the world starting from age 5 who had any access to a console like Sega, had seen this word every time when they, their friends or somebody else launched on of the popular games. This company also was a part of a very famous travel / music record / cable TV company group. This word is basically a synonim of "maiden" and doesn't have any negative meaning.
So if this name is too harsh for someone, the games themselves will be too harsh as well, and our game in particular. I'm sorry but I don't think that we will be remaking a game to get rid of all such elements like breeding, fights and sacrificing that may be improper for the youngest kids. It's basically supposed that the game difficulty is a filter here, and too young kids won't understand how to play. We have mendelian genetics, probability theory and stat balancing that are learned considerably later than the concepts of the pet name in question.
