At first, you probably wondered why I would ask to write here. Well, embarrassing confession time.

I still have imaginary friends. I'm 13 with imaginary friends. Sounds stupid, but here's my story.

It all started when I realized I only had two friends. I decided I needed more. But if they were imaginary, they would have to be mature enough to last. My first imaginary friends were a tribe of wild cats, lions, tiger, panthers, you name it. But I made it so I was one of them. For me, I choose the character of a cougar named Moon. Of course, the story had to be perfect if it was going to last. I made a reckless, lovable panther named Jake. And like in all stories, we fell in love.

Falling in love with an imaginary being, what was I thinking? But it was perfect. We sat, talked, hunted, pretty much did everything together. We had a family, and life was amazing.

Then, one night, I called out,“Jake?” We had recently been in a few fights, Normally, I could picture him standing there(often sad that he was just in my head), but this time, nothing happened. I tried again, but my mind couldn't seem to make him stand there, to comfort me, to say that nothing had changed. But everything had changed. I realized he was gone. Forever.

I cried my heart out. Tears streaming down my face and into my pillow. I fixed it in my mind that I would try again. This time, everything was different. This was a world of fantasy creatures, living like humans. Mostly populated by werecreatures, there were also phoenixes, gryphons, dragons, and everything was happy.

Whenever I was fed up with my real life, I would curl up on the couch with my new imaginary friends, and watch a movie. I was planning on writing about these guys, to share my story with them. But I didn't want harsh comments on how I still, and would probably have for the rest of my life, imaginary friends.

So I need your opinion. Should I do it? Also, I will write an short preview of the books in the series, if I get five on the poll.

Yes! You should write! What you've written already is cool! Also, you're not alone with the "imaginary friends even though I'm *insert age*". I still have imaginary friends too.

That's good to know. But one person isn't enough. I only have four people(now including you!) that knows and doesn't tease me about it. Although one of them is my sister, so every once in a while when we get in  a fight, she'll say they aren't real. ;(

Edit: OK, who cares about a poll for preview. How about one now?

From Book One:

     My first Midnight Run! Devin thought excitedly. I wonder what we do? Maybe we hunt together, or-

     “Tonight we welcome our newest member of the Midnight Run. Devin.” Fangs voice boomed, silencing the yapping werewolves. “You all know he joined little over a week ago, full time anyway, had his own apprentice, and now he is on his first Midnight Run.”

     Devin heard a few wolves behind him mutter about something being unfair. Fang continued his speech, but Devin tuned out the rest, and soon everyone that had come were running in different directions. Fang took him aside.

     “Listen Devin, we werewolves aren't everything you see. We live a life of dog eat dog, sometimes literally. Most of the time, we kill for fun. The Midnight Run is a time for wolves to remember this.”

     “Y-you mean we kill people? Innocent people?” Devin asked, horrified.

     “Come on, you can't tell me you werent expecting this?” Fang saw Devins shocked face, and murmured,“Come on, there's something you have to know.”

From Book Two:

     Shadow padded into camp, trying to look casual, and saw her dad walking up to her.

     “Where have you been?” Shade growled.

     “Sorry daddy. I was... out hunting,” she said, trying to sound confident.

     “Hunting, huh? Smells like you rolled around in a stinking pile of mud. You smell worse than Tumble(Tumble shouted behind him)!”

     Thats because I did, Shadow thought. After her encounter with the red wolf that called himself Devin, she rolled in mud to disguise her scent. I hope he doesn't find out...

From Book Three:

     Diamond's dreams suddenly turned red. Everything was hot, really hot. Uncomfortable, she opened her eyes, but nothing had changed.

     “Fire!” she screamed, running out of her bedroom in were-form. She raced across the hall into her little sister Crystals bedroom. Picking up the little kitten, she turned toward one end of the hall, that led to the kitchen, and the front door. But the whole path was blocked by flames.

     She squinted, coughing from the smoke. She turned back around, and climbed out of the window.

     “Mom? Mom!” she cried, tears streaming down her face. “Mom, where are you?”

     Suddenly, her mom was there, squeezing her tightly. She leaned in and whispered urgently in Diamonds ear,“Come on. We have to get out of the forest. The fire will spread.”

     Soon they were both running in cat form, Ruby behind Diamond, who was holding Crystal's scruff in her jaws.

     Suddenly, Diamond heard a loud creak. The large tree in front of her started to fall. She sprinted for the other side, but the tree crashed in front of Ruby, causing sparks to fly into her face, blocking her way. The fire slowly advanced, backing Diamonds mother into a tree. Fear crept into her eyes.

     “Take Crystal and run!” she screeched, but Diamond was frozen in place.

     Ruby backEd up the tree, turned around, then went up headfirst. She sighed with relief when she found a branch leading over the fallen tree. She jumped on the branch, which shook in response.

     “Don't worry Diamond, I'm coming,” she said, inching across the branch. Suddenly, there was a loud crack, and sparks flew into the air. The branch had dropped half an inch.

     Diamond screamed as Ruby's paw slipped, almost in slow motion. Ruby's two hind legs were hanging off the branch.

     “Run!” Ruby screamed.

     Diamond watched for a little longer, then turned and ran. She refused to look back, even when she heard a loud crack and a cut off scream.

Really nice so far! I really think you should write more because of cliffhangers. (Not just that, it's nice too.) Anyway, great job!

:\ Okay, so that's five people. Which one do I do first? I was thinking Devin's, because he meets the main characters of all the other stories, but now I'm not sure...

I only numbered books in preview because that was the order I remembered them.

Plus, I have thought of their lives before, except Diamonds, which is weird, because that's me XD
