You've only caught/bred 5 unicorns. That's hardly a statistical significance to argue it's not 50/50. :P

I have 3 boys out of 9 pets. My sister who has 18 pets has an even split between males and females.

So I think you're just unlucky at the moment. No biggie, you need just as many boys as girls to prevent inbreeding. (Well, actually I don't know how far back in the pedigree the game checks, maybe not.) Having more boys should at least mean being able to find the best match for your ladies plus you can put the boys up for stud for extra cash, unlike the girls at the moment.

I actually have more girls than guys, though not by much... I'm pretty sure it is just luck of the draw. ^^

I actually have an even split of male/female pets right now - 6 and 6 XD. I've had more boys at first, but then caught more females :3

outa 14 pets (one is currettly pregers which is why it says i have 15)

3 puma - all female

4 CTs - 2f/2m

2 gryffs - 1 each

2 dragons both female

2 uni - 1 each

1 roc male

so 9 females outa 14

My first two unicorns were female, my second two are male so I'm nice and even so far :)

I've bought all but two of my pets, and those two are captured from the wild, and they both are females. That's odd O.O

The majority of my unicorns are female! I catch and breed mostly females.
