Is there a way to tell if a pet cannot breed when you are purchasing them on auction?  i have had it happen twice.  they only have a couple children, females.  but the breeding button is not active.  I cannot see a way to tell before you purchase.

Try clicking the name of the pet. If that doesn't work, there's a longer way. Take in as many characteristics of the pet, click the owners username, find the pet you're looking for, and click on their profile.

Can you perhaps show which pets have this problem? The only reasons that I can think of for a pet being unable to breed is that it is either neutered or the breeding points have all been used up. The first can be filtered from auction and the second is unlikely if they've only had a few children.
