I'm trying to use my Hops Golem scroll thingy and I'm being told that "You can't use this recipe more than one time"

But I've never used it before I don't think? At least I don't remember using it before. And the only Golems I have running right now are a Rabbit Meat and a Wheat.

It means that the hops golem recipe is already in your library, in the Manor tab, under Crafts and Constructions. If you have a lot of schemes already used, you can sort through them with the tabs. Look under the Golem tab, you should see a hops golem recipe ready. You'd just need to have enough materials and a pet with the minimum required stats.
