I don't think I've seen anywhere on the site that explains how the Ridinghall charges you, so I'm asking here: why does it cost more to train some pets than it does others of the same level? Does it depend on genes? If so, why?
For example, it wants to charge 56 silver for training this level 4 Puma: http://beastkeeper.com/pet/513256, but 224 silver for training this other level 4 Puma: http://beastkeeper.com/pet/495584.

You are exactly paying for the blue XP bar to fill up. So if you have a pet with some XP from a fight or exploring, it will charge you for the remaining percentage of the level cost. If the XP bar is empty, you will be charged the full price of the training. You can also send Trainer invites to have the cost of the Ridinghall services halved.
